Wonderful story. I love all of it. Poor Spike didn't have a good time of it, especially during the summer, did he? But it looks like things got better. It eventually had to end, but he got plenty of summers spent with his golden girl. The end made me tear up, but it was beautiful.
What if Spike were the one to find Buffy in the water in the episode 'Prophecy'?

It’s almost a year and a half since Sunnydale fell into a crater. Now retired from slaying, Buffy’s been voluntold to go to Wesley Wyndham-Price’s memorial service, where she finds a few familiar enemies. Everything’s so surreal anyway, Buffy decides she might as well just give into it and see if lunch with Drusilla and Harmony might be one of the better things she does that year. The day keeps getting weirder, but the year might just be unsurpassable by the end of it.
Excellent chapter with wonderful characterization. You really have a good grip on the characters. Even the guy conducting the funeral feels like a real person, not someone made up for a story. Poor Buffy is absolutely believable as a slayer who has seen/experienced too much and just wants it all to be over.

Wonderful chapter. I love how clear it is that Spike was basically with Harmony because he didn't want to be alone, not because he truly loved her. But even then, he did take care of her needs. Excellent characterization of Dru. She's perfect.

I love this story so much. Spike isn't even awake for it, but it's such a powerful look into their relationship. Angel and Buffy were never equals in their relationship. He hated showing weakness to her and always wanted to project an image of strength. Spike gave all of himself to her. He showed her his strength, but he also had the courage and love to show share his weakness with her. That's why Spike can accept the gift of Buffy's blood while Angel can't.
Yay! This is one of my favourites, and it's such a wonderful gift when a reader tells me they feel the same.
Buffy knows her romantic entanglements have been missing something, but hasn't yet put that knowledge into practice. Following an accidental engagement, she takes the first step, by secretly making friends with an enemy.
Excellent starting chapter. I love the scenes showing the shift in her perspective, and Camilla is a great character.
Another excellent chapter. Normally, I tend not to be a huge fan of present tense stories, mainly because it makes everything feel too rushed. You keep things at just the right pace and give us time in Buffy's head. You also do a really good job of giving us her voice.
I love this chapter so much. When done right, and everyone in character, Spuffy is a couple who can just hang out and enjoy each other's company. Excellent job.
I love the dynamic building between Spike and Buffy. They're so them. None of it feels forced, just like what it would be in canon if they had started talking during season four.

So many people writing Spuffy stuff have Dru as some idiot crazy person that Spike just put up with. No. He loved her, and he had a lot of sweet moments with her. And even though she could be confusing and nonsensical to most, he usually understood exactly what she meant.
I'm reminded of the time in canon when Dru was talking about Acathla, and Angelus was all excitedly asking if she'd had a vision. Spike points out that, no, she just read the damn newspaper. He knows she's smart and that she can interact just fine with the "real" world. And she amused that he had to point that out to Angel.
The relationship you're building between Spike and Buffy has the feel of the best parts of the Sprusilla relationship. They get each other. They can laugh with each other and be silent with each other. And they can dance together in the living room.
I love this chapter. It's all homey and comfortable. I know most people are all about the Spuffy sex, but I love the stuff like this the most. Just the two of them, comfortable and hanging out, teasing and banter
Love this chapter. Buffy and Spike just interacting in her bedroom and it not going beyond the thought of smoochies is a beautiful thing. It shows just how deep their relationship is. It's more than just physical attraction. And I love them figuring stuff out, including that the chip is likely partially magic. They both have brains and know how to use them, a fact so many fanfic writers seem to forget.
I love this chapter. Both of them worried about each other and falling asleep in exhaustion after talking about all they've been through. The relationship built up between them here feels more real and so much deeper than a lot of fics I've read that have them mired in sexual tension and then boinking as soon as the writer can get them to it. Well done.
I love this chapter. I hated it in canon, how Buffy was encouraged from her justified anger and told to just forgive Riley. He had to know something was off with Buffy. Faith had never met Riley before and had no idea how Buffy interacted with him. They flirt and have sex in completely different ways. Even if he didn't immediately think that she'd been body swapped, he should have thought drugs or some kind of demon mind control or something.
Spike is the only one currently treating her with respect. He doesn't treat her like a child or a pet. She's Buffy.
I love this chapter. It's good to see some actual good advice from Jonathan, and a break from the canon habit of Riley cheating on Buffy and another man urging her to just forgive and forget.
I love how much this chapter says about the relationship between Buffy and Spike without Spike even being in it. Excellently done.
I love Anya. She's always so blunt and way more observant than people give her credit for. I agree with the part of Buffy that she's arguing with. It was very sweet. Spike checking in on her and seeing if the way is clear for him to court her.
The rescue comes too late in All the Way with disastrous results for Dawn and those who love her. Spike tries to salvage what he can of the girl they knew while struggling with his own crumbling mental state. Buffy sinks even further into depression. Willow tries desperately to pile spell after spell in an attempt to fix everything. And as it all falls apart, Giles realizes that he’s truly needed to help pull them all together again.

I love the character dynamics in this series. Buffy and Spike obviously care about each other, but they express it in ways a lot of people wouldn't understand. And it's so perfectly them. And I love Anne essentially bringing "Christmas presents" in the form of back up, along with the things that were requested. As always, the characters feel real and lived in, like they have full lives beyond what we see on the page. Great job. <3
