West of the Storm is a Buffyverse fanfic library. We host stories from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel TV show universes that are written with a pro-Spike/Buffy (Spuffy) bent. We welcome any stories that have this pro-Spuffy relationship. They do not have to be the main focus of the story - although they certainly can be - they can be friends, partners, barely mentioned, or somewhere in between all of that. As long as the Spuffy pairing is supported, and the source is the general Buffyverse, it can find a home here.
Spike/Dru, Buffy/Angel, Buffy/Riley and Spike or Buffy/Other are allowed as long as they don't preclude an eventual Spuffy relationship of some sort.
We exist mostly as a safe space for fans of Buffy who sometimes want to read more than just romance stories, but don't want to be slapped in the face with harsh anti-Spuffy sentiment. We also partially exist due to the things listed here.
