I just loved it. It had all the emotions in a beautifully written package. Even though Spike doesn't play a part in the story and is there only at the end he is realy present throughout. Every word resonates with his energy and emotion. And it is so well done. I think I've only ever seen this executed successfully in two or three stories that I've read anywhere. It's funny sweet and sexy. Well done.

I've left a comment for this on A03 but I had to add a comment here. This is one of my favorite Dru and Spuffy fics. I love how you captured Dru's cleverness, you made her a very layered character in a fairly short fiction. Also the dialog between the three women is chef's 💋 perfect! I rec this fiction whenever someone asks for a Dru fic.

Excellent chapter with wonderful characterization. You really have a good grip on the characters. Even the guy conducting the funeral feels like a real person, not someone made up for a story. Poor Buffy is absolutely believable as a slayer who has seen/experienced too much and just wants it all to be over.
