Stop threatening and do it, that's super relatable. spike understandably sounds exhausted of the looming and seemingly empty threat .

I like the built for defense not nurturing.

Another good chapter

"Don't marry within the business. Nothing good can come of it.” Buffy!!! What! I mean this makes sense since the divorce stuff is always on the table for them.

Is sweet that Buffy tries to rouse Spike with talking about the fight he is missing out on.

"Spike's a bigger sucker for wide eyes" true and SMG does to a great job with the big eyes

Such a good read

Spike turns around to catch Buffy. It's completely unnecessary and soo very sweet that they do that.

Lol Andrew get tied up a lot!

"William and Buffy Pratt, Protectors of the Lineage" this is such a beautiful sign of.

I like Spike tempting her to go somewhere tropical.

"Starting to think she's never gonna stop wanting out.” oouch poor babies. But I get it mortals aren't designed for forever.

Poor Joy having Spike terrify all of her boyfriends.

“Sorry... Gotta keep you.” very cute

I dig the life advice by Buffy to new guy.

I really enjoy the Spuffy flirty flirt at the end.

I was immediately intrigued by Anne Pratt's name. Is really sweet Spike and Buffy name their daughter after Anne.

Feeling like a colander!!! 🤕 Ouch!!!

This feels like such a strong and loving family.

Great start

I love the character dynamics in this series. Buffy and Spike obviously care about each other, but they express it in ways a lot of people wouldn't understand. And it's so perfectly them. And I love Anne essentially bringing "Christmas presents" in the form of back up, along with the things that were requested. As always, the characters feel real and lived in, like they have full lives beyond what we see on the page. Great job. <3
